Katy and russell the new brangelina?

Katy Perry joined her fiance Russell Brand on the red carpet last night for the premiere of his latest Hollywood film, Get Him To The Greek.

Katy joked with interviewers that they were aiming to become the next Brangelina, supporting each other every step of the way through their glittering careers.

Although they stopped short of the matching outfits Brad and Ange tend to favour at A-list events, they do share a near-identical inky black hair colour!

Katy showed off yet another new haircut at the party, opting for a Cleopatra-inspired look with blunt fringe and sleek lengths. The image was completed with thick penciled-in 'brows and heavy black eyeliner.

Love them or hate them, they certainly make an attractive couple!
