Katherine heigl's brunette curls

Actress Katherine Heigl has proved herself to be a bit of a colour chameleon lately, first of all changing from her natural baby blonde hue to a dark auburn and now opting for a rich brunette.

 

Unlike most Hollywood stars who pick one look that works and stick with it, Katherine has always been quite adventurous - with her colour choices, if not her hairstyles!

Katherine started out as a glamorous all-American blonde, appearing at the 2008 Academy Awards with a Marilyn Monroe-inspired head of retro curls and classic red lips.

In 2009 Katherine switched things up with an unexpected change to a summery shade of auburn which worked particularly well with her hazel coloured eyes.

At a premiere last week, Katherine debuted her latest look: chocolate brown curls. We asked Lucie Wilson, franchisee owner of Rae Palmer Hair Boutique Chichester to give us her thoughts on the look...

"I love the way Katherine looks in all of these pictures. She knows how to complement her hair colour by enhancing her tan and changing her make up.

The clotted cream blondes and strong red lips create a real glamorous, red carpet look. The hair colour looks stunning, expensive and luxurious.

The sexy effortless up-do brings a touch of summer to her over-all look, and the rich velvet brown tones really bring out her eye colour and skin tone. The make up is softer, bringing a more sun kissed effect to the overall style.

Katherine's final look is pretty in pink and is kept cute and Innocent by her use of natural looking make up.  The dark cocoa all over colour is gorgeous, glossy and girly."
