Kate Moss turns 40 today and in honour of the supermodel's birthday, we're taking a look back at her most memorable hair looks from the 26 years that she's been on the catwalk.
Kate's professional life has seen her sport pretty much every hairstyle going - from
the poodle perm to
a David Bowie-esque bright orange mullet.
In shoots she's a chameleon; on the catwalk she's just as versatile. She's been retired from runway walking for a good decade, but still pulls it out of the bag when her friends demand - as seen with
her chain-smoking dominatrix look at Louis Vuitton.
In her personal life, Kate is just as experimental with her hair. Over the years we've seen her transform from grunge queen to
romantic bride, although she's arguably most famous for that London look; artfully tousled waves, with just a hint of roots adding a rock chick edge to her blonde hair.
And let's not forget festival fashion, the unique brand of style that Kate Moss single-handedly created - whether she's
stageside or
traipsing through the mud, Kate always manages to look like she's just stepped out of a (very cool) salon.
So famous is Kate Moss for her hair, that in 2013 she was announced as the face of
Kerastase Couture Styling Range. Her relationship with session stylists is equally strong - from her famous Calvin Klein shoot, styled by
Guido to her more recent long-term working friendship with
Sam McKnight.
Here we round up the very best of Kate Moss's hair looks from the last quarter of a century - which is your favourite?
