Kate Middleton has been named as having the most iconic hair of 2012, according to research by Fabriah.comThe Duchess of Cambridge came top of a poll of 1,000 people to be named as the personality with the most memorable hair of the year, followed by singing sensation Emeli Sandé.
And proving that the poll was all about memorable hair rather than perhaps desirable style, Boris Johnson took third place followed by Her Majesty the Queen in fourth place.
Francesca Davies from Fabriah.com said: "2012 has been a fantastic year for so many of the celebrities on our list but in particular Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
"She has, what we call in the industry, trend setting hair. In fact I would go as far as saying that Kate is the biggest hair trend-setter since Jennifer Aniston's 'Rachel'."
