Kate hudson pink hair: love it or leave it?

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, we've seen plenty of people going pink in support of charity - with Kate Hudson the latest star to rock peach hair. The actress appeared on the red carpet at the American Cinematheque Award Show with a new pastel-toned hue, which she coloured in honour of friends who've been touched by cancer. Kate - and her mother Goldie Hawn - enlisted celebrity colourist Danny Moon for their transformation - and with Katy Perry, Nicole Richie, and Kylie Jenner as past clients, it's safe to say they were in good hands. The Clear History star snapped herself mid-transformation and wrote: "In honor of my bestie Juliana, my assistant Kathy, my grandmother Laura, Mimo and all the people who are fighting and have fought breast cancer. Your courage shines and inspires." We asked Daniel Benson, owner of Mint Hair and Day Spa in Twickenham, for his verdict on Kate's new 'do.

I think its absolutely fantastic to see style icons like Kate Hudson doing their bit for Breast Cancer Awareness month. We've had a couple of guests that have gone for the same look, as it is really on trend at the moment as well as being a great charity statement. We pre-lighten the hair and apply the amazing fuchsia Milk_Shake direct colour. Our guests look fantastic - even if they're not attending the same glitzy parties as the lovely Miss Hudson.
