Joseph Koniak presents Pure and Simple; a collection of two halves.
"This collection involves two parts - Light and Dark," explains Joseph. "Light is all about keeping it clean and fresh, with an unexpected organic element. The styles were inspired by pure and natural beauty, sculpted but with a raw, textured finish. Classic updos, severed pleats and pixie crops are plaited, braided and crimped to create strong shapes with a wearable edge. Modern dressed hair at its finest.
"Dark steps into the avant-garde, with a projection of art and creativity. These are strong, statement shapes connecting with movement and texture, blending the artistic with the contemporary for a concept of beauty behind the light. These dramatic looks hold no boundaries and are created using tools including soft netting for the perfect pleated mohican, tongs, crimpers and fingers."
