John paul dejoria honoured with legend of beauty award

John Paul DeJoria has been honoured with the Legend of Beauty Award by the Beauty Industry West’s Board of Directors. Every other year, the board selects a recipient for the award based on the criteria of an innovator whose thinking, commitment and practices have changed the direction of the hair and beauty industry in a significant way, and one who has contributed to the advancement of the industry as a whole. This year, Paul Mitchell co-founder John Paul DeJoria was selected and will now go on to share his experience in co-founding the company, the initial challenges - including a spell spent living in his car - as well his commitment to the environment and the at times difficult distribution choices that he has undertaken to to abide by the Paul Mitchell mission statement.
