John frieda and friends cycle ibiza for hairraising charity HAIRraisingJohn Frieda and friends from the hairdressing community recently undertook an epic cycle challenge around the island of Ibiza, raising more than £260,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. The Ibiza Round the Island Cycle Challenge took place from 2- 5 May and saw more than 140 cyclists cover an impressive 200km to raise funds for the charity’s HAIRraising appeal, which aims to raise £1 million towards a much needed new Respiratory Unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital. This is the third year the hairdressing community has come together for this unique fundraising event. John Frieda said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have completed our third Ibiza Round the Island Cycle Challenge in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. It was tough at times, but knowing we were raising funds for such a fantastic cause kept us going.  I’m very proud of what the HAIRraising appeal has achieved so far and I’d like to thank everyone who joined us for this incredible challenge.” Registrations for the 2015 Ibiza Round the Island Cycle Challenge are now open.
