Jo hansford team create a night of glamour

Think you could transform the tresses of hundreds of happy shoppers in one evening? That's the challenge that faced the Jo Hansford team when they represented L'Oréal Professionnel at the latest Glamour/Mango reader evening at the Mango Flagship store on Oxford Street.

The team, headed up by Steve Carr, tonged, crimped and blow-dried into the night as the throng of 2000 shoppers eagerly awaited their super quick hair make-over at the tecni.art pamper zone

Shoppers were transformed in a matter of minutes as Steve and the team steadily made their way through the expectant queue.  Curls were the look for the evening with girls wanting to swap their poker straight locks with gentle, natural and dishevelled curls. 

The trend for big voluminous hair couldn't be missed either with shoppers experimenting with the popular Amy Winehouse look.  "What a treat!" one shopper said, "shopping and a new do! What more could a girl ask for in one evening?""

 

Surrounded by hairspray, mousse and wax and four hours of continuous styling later, the team were exhausted but clearly buzzing from their success.  "What a night!" exclaimed Steve, "hard work but great fun - it's not often you get to meet so many clients in one evening!"
