As mentor on MTV's new reality series, Beauty School Cop Outs, Rochdale salon owner Jamilla Paul was guest of honour at the show's recent launch party.
After styling the stars of the show and the boss of MTV for their big night, Jamilla and her salon team were on hand throughout the party to style members of the media - many of whom had arrived during a torrential downpoir.
The evening also saw the first episode of the show screened live in front of guests - with it receiving a resounding thumbs up.
"It was hysterical," says Jamilla. "It was the first time I got to see the programme and it was a real eye-opener. Fans of reality TV will love it. It’s about young people being a little bit crazy and a big bit self-obsessed. But I know we will see them growing as individuals as the series progresses."
