Jamie Stevens is set to start 2012 with a bang with the opening of his first salon in London.
The news comes after a hugely successful year for Jamie in 2011, which saw him crowned HJ's Men's Hairdresser of the Year as well as enjoying an extremely well-received season as official hairdresser on the The X Factor.
With a thriving salon in his home village of Woolavington, Somerset celebrating 18 months of service, the new addition to Jamie's empire is set to open in Kensington, West London in March 2012.
The two-storey salon will be managed by Jamie's sister, Tasha, who was nominated for Manager of the Year at HJ's 2011 British Hairdressing Business Awards.
Jamie says: "I'm really excited to be opening my first salon in London/ Working with Errol has been amazing and I'm so grateful for everything he's taught me but I've always dreamed of having my own salon here."
"With everything going on with The X Factor and This Morning, as well as winning Celebrity Hairdresser of the Year and HJ's Men's Hairdresser of the Year again, it just feels like the right time to make the move."
"The salon is in a fantastic spot in Kensington and I'm working on the design at the moment, planning what's going to go where. I'm aiming to open in spring and Little Mix have said they'll come and open it for me so it should be a great opening party!"
