Jacks go burlesque in the name of charity
The Staff at Jacks Hair in Nottingham have come up with a novel way to raise funds for local charity the James Skillington Challenge for Leukaemia: they've created a burlesque theme calendar,
Shot on location at the salon, the calendar features all the staff at Jacks dressed in outfits designed, created and supplied by local company, Eternal Spirits.
It will be launched at a party in the salon on October 23 when calendars will be sold for £10 each, with all proceeds going to the charity which funds research into Leukaemia at the Nottingham City Hospital.
Shani Readman, salon manager and organiser of the calendar said: "We have had a great time making the calendar. We hope to make this a memorable night, and raise lots of money for the charity."
