Jack Howard teaches balayage masterclass at Trevor SorbieJack Howard recently took his hugely popular balayage masterclass to Trevor Sorbie to educate the leading salon group in this must-have colouring skill. The L'Oréal Professionnel guest artist explains; "Balayage is a French term meaning to sweep or paint which allows for a sun-kissed natural looking hair colour with less obvious regrowth - think of Poppy Delevingne as the poster girl! "Balayage is applied on the surface of the section and not saturated through until the very tips, otherwise you would have a streak of colour that isn’t vey soft at all. It can also be called a freehand technique because no foil is used to create the highlights” While the Trevor Sorbie team already do some freehand work, this colour update provided plenty of fresh inspiration for their clients and creative work. Jack is available for education in your salon - call 07725 640716 or visit www.jackhoward.co.uk for more information.
