It's good to be back......
It seems like an age since I last wrote on here and as Kate has reminded me - it has been! It was really strange being off work completely for six weeks and even odder to receive HJ and read it in its finished form rather than on page proofs! The team have kept me up-to-date on all the industry news and I managed to catch up with loads of people at the L'Oreal Colour Trophy - a fantastic night. Congratulations to all the winners!
Here in the HJ office work is frantically underway preparing all the images for the first round judging of HJ's British Hairdresing Awards sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional on Monday. Seeing all the pictures displayed gives me a feeling of immense pride when you see the skill of the work in front of you and reassuring to know that British hairdressing still remains at the forefront. Look out for the finalists details on HJi next week.
