Is dame judi dench's style up to scratch?

Most famed for her role as M in the James Bond films, Dame Judi Dench has also carved out a career for herself as the queen of the period drama.

But is her look on the money (penny) or more at home in the nineteenth centuary roles she plays?

London hairdressers Sean Fordham of Fordham Soho and Kellie Allen of Martin Hoarau Hairdressing both told us that Dame Judi's got her look spot on.

They agree that there is not a lot that could be done to improve her style.

"Judi's haircut is short and sassy, and the natural wave creates great movement and texture. I definitely think it suits her face shape and her hair colour is great," says Sean.

"If I was to update the haircut I wouldn't change very much, except develop more of a fringe to soften the look. Overall, it's a great cut for a great Dame."

While Kellie thinks it's a great look that could only be enhanced with a richer blonde.

She adds: "I like Judi's new look. The colour is a fresh, clean blonde, which looks healthy.

"If I was to do anything I may enhance the existing blonde and apply a darker, richer blonde around the exterior, to bring out the natural warmth in Judi's face."
