My Image of the Day is by the talented James Whyte from Soul Hair in Chester. This is part of his winning 2013 Midlands Hairdresser of the Year collection working with photographer Andrew Vincent, and the uber-shine and simple top knot are entrancing. The glossy finish is enhanced with coloured lighting and by looking away from the camera there is an air of mystery.
