I'm a massive fan of avant garde hairdressing, and firmly believe that they are a work of art that, when photographed properly, will stand the test of time and could adorn the walls of any art gallery. This image by Emmanuel Esteban from Anne Veck Salons in Oxford looks like an 18th century painting and while it is hypnotising it is also haunting and a little bit scary! Resembling Medusa, she looks like she could turn you to stone with one glance - thank goodness she is looking away from the lens!!
