A splash of colour can add ennergy and pizzazz to a classic cut; as demonstrated by the La Biosthetique artistic team.

Cut

>
Step 1: A triangular section was created at the fringe. The first two sections were cut to one length. A curve line was created that was no longer than this at the front. The front section was slightly over-directed backwards and the rest cut so that it fell naturally. After defining the perimeter, the next section was cut and a round, graduated shape created.

Step 2: The sides and nape were cut as one, holding the fingers parallel to the section. The section at the nape was elevated a little higher than at the sides.
>
Step 3: The areas above the centre back were sectioned off. Each section was gradually elevated higher than the previously cut section and repeated on the opposite side.Step 4: A horizontal graduation was cut at the top of the head, providing more movement throughout the whole cut. Each section at the top of the head was elevated to the previously cut section.
Step 5:A triangular fringe section was taken and the hair blow-dried flat. Fringe was freehand-cut into a curved, graphic line.
