Hooker & young awarded for creative contribution to the north east
Hooker & Young Sue Todd Photography Living North held their spectacular annual awards ceremony to celebrate the region’s local businesses and their achievements. Hooker & Young won the Creative Contribution Award for their continued passion and commitment to creativity in the North East. The Creative Contribution Award celebrates design, originality and creative flair in visual arts, crafts, fashion – and now hair! The judges chose Hooker & Young due to the impact they’ve had across a diverse range of creative disciplines. Judges were looking for creative excellence in the creation of a service or product. The award was given to a local business with significance to people’s everyday lives as well as the sustained high level of creativity added to North East life.
Michael Young said, “We’re absolutely thrilled to win the Creative Contribution Award! It was a fantastic evening and a wonderful surprise to win because we are so incredibly proud to be from the north east. Living North is a gorgeous magazine which we love to work with so winning this award is fantastic. We think it’s fantastic that hairdressing is winning awards for its creativity and are proud to be taking this award back to our salons!”
