The Temple Fortune branch of HOB Salons recently hosted a fundraising night for Zichron Menachem UK, the Israeli Association for the Support of Children with Cancer
- making a whopping £10,000 in just one evening and bringing their grand charity total for £70,000.
Held for a seventh consecutive year, the fundraising event saw 25 charity supports aged between 5 and 20 selflessly donate their hair to make wigs for Israeli children suffering from cancer.
In return, they received the ultimate makeover experience with the HOB Team to ensure that they completed their challenge in style with blow-dries, make-up and manicures.
Dina Tangi, one of the coordinators of the project, commented: "The atmosphere was incredible and having worked with HOB Salons for a few years now, the charity evening has an unbelievably uplifting feel. From the happiness that these fantastic volunteers will bring to those less fortunate, through to the giving of time and services from the HOB Salons team, the night is a true a lesson in what giving is all about."
