Hji hearts . . . whitney port's glossy lengths and dirty roots
Originally a star of MTV's reality show The Hills, Whitney Port has been on the style radar for some time.
Now a celebrity in her own right, Whitney's glossy locks with dirty roots look is a style that has kept her in the spotlight.
Whitney battled it out to become a fashion contributor at Teen Vogue and has since worked for a high profile fashion PR firm as well as fashion label Diane Von Furstenberg where her experience was followed in the MTV show The City.
Katheryn Hayward, Browns Shrewsbury for Revlon Professional, thinks that Whitney's California babe style works well on the 'it' girl. "Whitney Port's long LA tousled hair softens her wide features," she says.
Her shiny locks are made more edgy with visible roots that leave her looking like a true fashionista who seems equally at home at an edgy fashion event as she does at a red carpet do.
"Her honey and caramel tones add warmth to her cool complexion and the darker roots peeping through adds an edge," says Katheryn. Whitney's cool edge means that she's even picked up a few true fashion fans including Brit style wonderboy Henry Holland.
Whitney's style is a hit but Katheryn thinks that her look could be improved further. "Whitney is an up-and-coming style icon but what would really catapult her to the top of the style pile would be an attention-grabbing, eye-skimming fringe with a shattered exterior. This would instantly update her look without being too trendy," she says.
