Short and shaved styles are no longer just for the boys with stars like Sarah Harding making them sexy, edgy and feminine.

The Girls Aloud star and upcoming actress has just stepped out with a rocking look that may have been inspired by previous HJi hearts favourites Alice Dellal and Rihanna.

Leaving the length on top means that Sarah can play with the style, giving it height and texture for high fashion events such as London Fashion Week, where she revealed the look, or slicking the style down for a smart look with an edge.

Anya explains the way that Sarah has hit the spot with this trend. She says: "The extreme of short to longer lengths together gives that great wearable texture that can be styled in many ways, it's a really on-trend look and style which also makes Sarah stand out from the crowd."
