Hji hearts . . . roisin murphy's updo
She found fame with the electo-indie outfit Moloko and now Roisin Murphy is making waves in the fashion world.
Known for her quirky sense of style, Roisin wears exciting styles on and off stage and is now in demand for guest lists at catwalk shows.
She looked stunning modelling a tailored, monocrome suit for Givenchy's Haute Couture show at the recent Paris Fashion Week.
Last year, Roisin took to the catwalk for her fashion hero Vivienne Westwood. Her 'loopy' updo made an appearance at the show and she's been playing with the style ever since.
Neatly scraped up to the sides, she leaves big waves or folded loops of hair on the top to create a sculptured look that is both on-trend and individual.
In the past, she's flirted with red tones but has now settled for gorgeous, shiny, honey blonde locks. The soft colour complements her skin tone perfectly.
Now a fixture on the front row of fashion shows, it seems that hanging out with Roisin boosts the cool credentials of almost any celebrity.
She was recently seen sitting with actress Kate Bosworth and Nicole Ritchie at London Fashion Week.
We're hoping that a few celebs will take a leaf out of Roisin's book, step away from their safe, long locks, and try out some edgy updos, for a night at least.
Now a solo singer, Roisin's experimental take on fashion and hair have left her with a unique yet glossy style. Think Alison Goldfrapp meets Gwyneth Paltrow with a sprinking of Björk. We approve!
