Hji hearts . . . nicola's pastel hues
Nicola Roberts had a rough ride at the start of her career. Known as the 'ugly one' from Girls Aloud, she used everything from fake tans to long dark extensions to hide her natural red hair and pale skin.
Older and wiser, Nicola has now discovered the world of fashion and has realised that her differences are what make her beautiful and unique. This swan-like transformation has brought her to the attention of style watchers who lover her new hair and wardrobe.
Gone is the brown dye and lengths, Nicola now opts for subtle red tones that suit her porcelain complexion and her dress sense has gone from Girls Aloud gaudy to chic and ladylike.
Nicole has become a fixture on the front row at fashion shows and she has clearly passed the fashion world's seal of approval by hanging out with ultimate fashion queen Vivienne Westwood.
Darren Bain, hob Salons, loves her new look. "Moving on from her poker straight, vibrant red head looks of years past, Nicola Roberts is embracing the 70s feel, with more movement and stunning natural tones that really compliment her complexion and style.
"Nicola's shown a style progression, this look is far more mature and very fashion led with the colour muted to a softer and delicate tone and the cut enhancing her hairs natural wave," says Darren.
It's good to see a girl band member that no longer aspires to the WAG-style lengths and tan uniform. Nicole looks radiant and has shown all her critics that she has style and grace with sporting a soft colour that complements her new look.
Says Darren: "Perfectly suited to her paler complexion, this pastel apricot hue is right on-trend for spring/summer 2010 and teamed with delicate movement, gives a beautiful overall look."
