Hershesons to launch #hairforheroes campaign supporting nhs nurses Hershesons will run its new #Hair4Heroes nationwide campaign that gives thanks to NHS nurses and celebrates the British hair industry in anticipation of salons reopening on 12 April. During the pandemic Luke had begun to think how he could give back to the amazing nurses who have looked after patients fighting COVID-19. The #Hair4Heroes campaign will have Hershesons ask participating salons to pledge one hour of every stylist’s time to giving NHS nurses a free cut and blow dry as a heartfelt thank you for their work during the pandemic. Following this, each salon will be asked to nominate a further three salons to do the same via Instagram, with hopes that the campaign and love for the NHS will spread across the entire UK. This initiative will run from 12 April - 30 September. “We all know how tirelessly nurses worked during the pandemic to take care of us. Now, we want to take care of them in the best way we know how – by giving them great hair and making them feel good,” says CEO, Luke Hersheson. “Hair For Heroes is a way of thanking our NHS nurses and celebrating everything the British hair industry has to offer in what we hope will be a new chapter for us all. We ‘re asking all salons to get on board and spread this campaign as far and wide as possible,” adds Chairman and Founder, Daniel Hersheson. To kick-start #Hair4Heroes, three salons have already joined the campaign, with a full list available here. Every salon will be able to download a digital campaign certificate acknowledging their participation and post about their pledge on the @hair4heroes instagram account as the campaign continues. For more information, visit the Hershesons website and follow @hair4heroes on Instagram. Hair For Heroes launched by Hershesons will run from 12th April until 30th September.
