Hensmans recently volunteered to style a local fashion show to support second year Fashion Marketing students at the University of Northampton.
The team of Dawn Anderton, Ruby Cooper-Hobbs and Mitchell Gough, led by creative stylist and Hensmans educator, Gavin McIntyre, all styled the candy shop themed fashion show, 'Sweet Dreams'. The team created delicious looks with coloured extensions, pastel and eye-popping colours.
Organised by the University of Northampton students, the Sweet Dreams event was held at Balestra in Northampton and accounted for 60% of their second year grade. Gavin was delighted to support the local university and help such a worthy cause:
"We love to get involved with the university events. Their shows are always fantastic and this event was no exception. The candy shop theme provided quite a challenge when it came to the hair but it meant that we were able to get a bit avant garde and create some really amazing candy coloured looks with lots of texture and volume."
