Hensmans styles fashion show

And with fabulous frocks, gorgeous accessories and amazing hair, this year's spectacle proved to be bigger and better than ever.
But putting on a fashion show doesn't happen overnight - planning started way back in February when the Artistic Team first meets with the students to create a stunning single shot to represent each collection from every student.
This results in a glossy book containing gorgeous images that will come to life at the end of year show.
For Gemma Hensman, director of Hensmans Salons, the Univerity of Northampton Graduate Fashion Show is a highlight in her calendar.
"As sole hairdressers for the fashion show and photo shoots, it is always fantastic for the Hensmans Artistic Team to work alongside such talented Fashion and Textiles graduates."
The team created Schwarzkopf's Essential Looks for the show, which included oversized bows in contrasting blonde colours; ladylike chic, with a twist; fishtail plaits; pretty plaits put into Grecian updos; high conical buns with distressed edges and oversized plait halos with kicked out ends.
"One of the biggest challenges in creating the styles is in allowing for the tight changes and producing hair that looks as good for the first collection as it will for the last," adds Gemma.
For the past three years, Schwarzkopf Professional has also sponsored the event, Stephen McDowell, PPS national technical manager for the brand thinks that the event is delighted with the collaboration.
Says Stephen: "The collection from this year's graduates was again impressive in the dedication, flair and talent they reflected and the hair industry also appreciates the importance of nurturing young talent."
