Headquarters hair salon hosts first photographic competition

Headquarters Hair Salon held its first ever in-house photographic competition to help prepare team members for entering industry competitions.
Each stylist was paired with a junior and given the brief of creating an image inspired by Autumn/Winter 2012 catwalks with skilfully-executed colour and a forward-thinking cut and finish
The final looks were then photographed a judged by a panel of the industry's top names, including Errol Douglas, Richard Wad and HJ's deputy editor, Ruth Hunsley.
The winning look was a sharp blonde bob, entered by stylists Lorraine Mason and junior colourist, Katie Allen.
As well as winning £200 of L'Oréal Professionnel vouchers each, Lorraine and Katie also won the opportunity to work on Headquarters' entry for this year's L'Oréal Colour Trophy.
