Harper's bazaar celebrate women of the year awards 2011

Harper's Bazaar paid tribute to some of the most inspirational women in showbiz at their Women of the Year awards, with Jessie J, Daisy Lowe and Florence Welch all in attendance.
Best known for her glossy bob, Jessie changed things up for the awards with a voluminous updo, which contrasted a sleek crown area with a highly textured bun.
While it's great to see Jessie experimenting with more avant-garde looks, I'm not sure this is her best style - it just doesn't feel quite cool enough for this fierce fashionista.
Daisy Lowe and Florence Welce also attended the event, which honoured achievement by women throughout the entertainment industry.
Vamping things up with a sultry gothic look, Daisy combined her dark locks with smoky eyes and plum lips. Her tousled lengths were loosely styled in to a low ponytail and while this bedhead look is very Daisy, I think she could have pulled off something stronger with this statement style.
Florence opted for a simple centre-parting and low bun, which showed off the neckline and beading on her Alexander McQueen dress perfectly. Her deep red shade is perfect with the golden embroidery on the gown.
