1. The perimeter was isolated 2cm from behind the front hairline to 3cm above each ear, ending in a point 1cm above the occipital bone.2. The hair on top was sub-divided by parting from the end of the right eyebrow to above the left ear (section A). A parallel line 3cm behind the previous parting was traced (section B).3. The rest of the top was sectioned in radial partings from the mid-left eyebrow.

4. Each side was cut square to below the ear lobe.5. The side sections were sub-divided vertically and cut using the internal square technique, takng the perimeter as a guide for length.6. The top section was directed forward and a fringe was cut short over the right eye to create an oval shape. The fringe was started from the right sideburn down to the left eye.

7. On the left side of the forehead, hair was cut to the maximum length to the temple and connected to the sideburn. Starting from the mid-forehead, the left part of the fringe was texturised using thinning shears.8. Section A was taken from inside the right eyebrow to 5cm9. Section B was taken from mid left eye and given a length of 6-8cm.
