London's fashionable faces were out in force on Monday night at the 2011 British Fashion Awards, with the likes of Victoria Beckham and Alexa Chung representing the best-dressed Brits.
Texture remains a trend for the super-cool crowd, with tousled waves, luxe-scruffy stylingW and a matte finish in demand for stars including Alexa Chung, Popppy Delevigne and Laura Bailey.

While updos were worn by Josephine de la Baume and Kate Hudson, these styles remained a fashion-forward edge with a matte finish and cool textured lengths. Josephine also took the opportunity to show off her new auburn lengths, while new mum Kate showed off a sparkling blonde shade wrapped into a high bun.

Shimmering shades of blonde were also a hit with supermodels Georgia May Jagger and Kate Moss, who both gave their golden manes a bit of edge with tell-tale dark roots and a tonal blend of shades from champagne and vanilla to ash and copper.

Tumbling waves were another star-studded favourite, with Brit star Romola Garai and Kelly Brook both opting for perfectly rippling styles.
While Romola kept things simple with a high shine finish and smooth s-shaped curls through the front, and Kelly sweeping her mane over to one side for an old-school, Hollywood style finish.

Smooth chignons were the style of choice for Victoria Beckham and Olivia Palermo, both of whom wore their chocolate-box locks in centre-parted, swept-back styles.
Simple, classy and with more than a hint of Audrey Hepburn, this style oozes class and shine - perfect for two A-list fashionistas.

Also opting for centre-parted and simple looks, models Kristen McMenamy and Yasmin Le Bon both wore their hair straight and smooth.
Kristen's statement shock of white hair looks fabulously gothic in this statement style, while Yasmin allowed flyaway baby hairs to soften the finish.
