Hairdressing - the word on the tweet

Published 22nd Dec 2009 by Kate Woods

As the office techno-geek (but also the most likely not to be able to turn my computer on!), I've felt obliged to dip into the online phenomenon that is Twitter.

Using a really clever programme - Tweetdeck, if you are interested - I can monitor any tweets that refer to the word 'hair' or 'hairdressers' and I've got to tell you that you guys get a really bad press.

To give you an idea here are a selection of a few that have come through in the last hour or so ...

  • " I've pretty much given up on hairdressers... they never do what you ask of them!" iNGO98
  • "Hairdressers fail so bad. I ask for a choppy fringe, they give me a blunt one." RenegadeOfFunk
  • "Just got out the hairdressers, 200£ poorer but with pretty hair. I feel like a little doll." lorenmiles
  • "There's not much I dislike more than the hairdressers" conn1231

So why aren't you answering back? I've been at HJ Towers long enough to know that hairdressers are some of the hardest working people who never stop training, so why aren't you giving that impression off?

At the very least the odd reply could give you the chance to steal someone else's disgruntled customers!

On a postive note, well done to whoever cuts vicariousills hair. She says: "Getting my hair done, yay for funky layers! So glad my hairdressers "get" me"
