Hairdressers wanted for streetlytes charity

streetlytes.jpgHairdressing is a varied and rewarding job, and very few hairdressers need reminding how lucky they are to be part of a great industry.

So charity Streetlytes is looking for hairdressers to help out individuals who are not quite so lucky.

The small charity engages with the homeless to address immediate housing, mental health and substance abuse issues and would like to offer a dry haircutting service to those in need.

They are looking to create a rota of hairdresser volunteers to cut hair at one of their drop-in centres in central London.

Volunteering is an eye-opening and challenging experience, but you will be guaranteed a fascinating and very different evening out.

By offering to help, you will have a positive impact on the self esteem and confidence on those who really do need a boost.
