Leading trichology clinic Philip Kingsley is calling for hairdressers and their clients to take part in a Priority Setting Partnership (PSP)survey into the most pressing concerns relating to hair loss.
The aim of the PSP is to find out the unanswered questions relating to the prevention, treatment and care of hair loss that most concern sufferers and this working to help them.
A number of PSPs have been conducted in other areas; this particular PSP is a collaboration between the British Hair and Nails Group, Alopecia UK and the James Lind Alliance, which is the facilitating organisation behind the whole process.
A steering committee, including Carole Michaelides from Phillip Kingsley, a psychologist, a GP a dermatology nurse and a wig technician, has been tasked with getting as much feedback to the survey as possible.
