The salon will open at the revamped Loews Regency Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, where the restaurant's Power Breakfast has long been a signature. Located in the heart of the city's business district, the hotel - which is due to reopen in January following extensive renovation - plays host to some of the city's most influential power players. Style.com reports that the hotel's new Julien Farel Salon will specialise in "no-nonsense, coiffed styles for clients who want to make a commanding impression in the office..." - hairspray and lots of volume all round?
