Hair scare of the week: paris hilton

ay back in January, Paris Hilton tweeted pictures of herself dressed as Marilyn Monroe. 

The Hilton heiress was shooting promotional imagery for her latest fragrance, Tease, and explained that she had been inspired by Monroe; "I am all about being alluring," said Paris, "But with a wink, and a fun, fresh take on all that is enticingly feminine about a woman today."

At the recent fragrance launch, Paris recreated her Marilyn look - but with questionable results. While the Twit-pic looked fun and flirty, the real life version is stiff, unflattering and weirdly ageing. 

The makeup and styling isn't so bad (for a red carpet event, at least), but the hair has more than a hint of Margaret Thatcher bouffant about it. I always prefer Paris with short hair, but this   bubble barnet is a no-no.
