Hair is the ultimate accessory at london fashion week

After a sedate New York Fashion Week, all eyes were on London for its creativity and eccentricity. However, held on the edge of a recession, clothes were actually quite calm and sensible. There were lots of muted shades with some splashes of colour and the one thing that brought it to life was the hair. At Jasper Conran hair was scraped back and wrapped into a bow on top of the head, while over at Jean Paul Braganza, hair was slicked over to the side for a large scooped quiff.  We all know that hair is the ultimate accessory and can make or break a look, and with sculptured looks that looked pretty, original and effective, British hairdressers proved that they are the best when it comes to creating that overall look.
