Goldwell color zoom uk finalists revealed

The three finalists who will represent the UK at the international final of Goldwell Color Zoom were chosen this week at the UK Winners Party.

Held at Aqua Nueva in London, 15 finalists were announced in the Partner Colorist category, Creative Colorist category and New Talent Colorist category.

Guests were greeted with a choice of delicious summer cocktails and tapas-style canapes before William Wilson, head of technical and education at Goldwell, welcomed the finalists on stage.

The photogaphic entries appeared on screen, with the finalists bringing a live model of their look. onto the stage. Inspiration was taken from the 2012 collection FasciNature, a trend inspired by nature at its most expressive and surreal.

Last year's international winner Neil Barton talked about his winning year, which included joining the International Color Zoom Creative Team to create the FasciNature collection.

UK president for Goldwell Nick Wood announed the winners, before celerbrity DJ Brandon Block took to the decks to keep the party going into the early hours.

And the winners were:

Partner Colorist: Dorothy Sturgeon from Shane Bennett, Hillsborough, County Down, Northern Ireland

Creative Colorist: Jade Nicholas from Michael Barnes, London

New Talent Colorist: Osman Yakubuillari from SO Hairdressing, Maidstone.

They will now go on to the international final which will be held at Salon International in October.
