Gogglebox star stephen webb opens brighton salon

Googlebox star Stephen Webb is to open a luxury salon, Lustig & Webb, in Hurstpierpoint, Brighton. Best known for his appearances on the BAFTA award-winning Gogglebox with Chris Steed, Stephen has become a legend in his own living room for his wonderfully honest opinions on the week's television. Lustig & Webb will be the first salon for hairdresser Stephen. Clients will be able to get the full treatment, with cuts by Stephen and colour appointments from guest technician Chris. The salon is set to open with a celeb-packed launch party in October. He tells us: "I've been hairdressing for over 15 years and worked for Toni&Guy in London, Brighton and Dubai. Now I want to go it alone and offer a really personal experience in my first salon, Lustig & Webb. My clients will feel relaxed and pampered with longer appointment times and special treats like morning appointments with a light breakfast and Buck's Fizz and, in the afternoon, club sandwiches and our signature Lustig & Webb cocktail. We'll be offering 2014 hair trends with an old school twist of glamour; our buzz word is 'salubrious'." Stephen and the rest of the Goggleboxers are firm favourites in the nation's hearts and have been dubbed ‘The Real Royle Family’ for their hilarious views on what's being watched. Gogglebox hasn't just been a viewer's favourite, it's been a rating's winner and outstanding success for Channel 4 too, with viewing figures reaching more than four million.
