Whether your clients are sporting sensations or themselves, or simply want to get inspired by the women (hopefully) leading Team GB to gold, here we take a look at the Olympic athletes who look set to represent Britain both on and off the track.

Victoria Pendleton
"Cyclist Victoria has got good bone structure, but to eliminate the slightly solid look, she could incorporate some softer layers into her style to create movement throughout. Her bold colour is too heavy and I would prefer to see her with a slightly warmer tone."
Luigi Mortellaro,
The Academy Of Hair, Woking, Surrey
Jessica Ennis
"This season's long bob is perfect for heptathlete Jessica. Its sleek, no-frills appearance represents her profession and style perfectly. To recreate this look, blow-dry with a large barrel brush concentrating on achieving a perfect bevel at the bottom of the hair. Using a light blow-drying cream will help achieve the high-shine finish. To improve on Jessica's style, I would recommend taking the style up by an inch to prevent the hair flicking out on the ends. This will also promote movement."
Izzy Butcher, Ken Picton Salon, Cardiff

Amy Williams
"I think skeleton racer Amy's hair strikes just the right balance between style and simplicity. Her colour has been done just the right way by contrasting her darker roots with subtle caramel shades - this softens her features and flatters her skin tone perfectly. These dishevelled, beach-look waves are simple to create too, so are a great way for Amy to create effortless style in no time."
Robert Masciave, Metropolis Hairdressing, Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey
Keri-Anne Payne
"Keri-Anne has a lovely fresh face and her hair is very natural. Obviously, she swims every day so she needs to be able to tie her hair up. I would love to enhance the shine in her hair by applying a semi-permanent gloss in a chocolate shade to give her hair intense shine and body. A long sweeping fringe would really complement her face shape too."
Sonia Byrne, Ruby B Salon, Chiswick, London
