Krysia West, award-winning Hair Stylist and Owner of Perfectly Posh Hair and Postiche Academy, has been appointed as an Ambassador for leading hair supplement brand Glowwa.Krysia began her trichologist journey in 2019 after suffering years of her own hair loss struggles. A true advocate of the brand, Krysia has been using Glowwa since 2021 and credits them on turning her hair loss into healthy hair.In her new role, Krysia will work closely with Glowwa founder Suzanne Cooper to educate on hair loss, the reasons behind why it occurs and the positive effects that taking a supplement, such as Glowwa, can have. For clients who suffer with hair loss, this can severely impact their confidence and wellbeing, having a hugely negative affect on their day-to-day life.Glowwa Ambassador Krysia commented: “I have been using Glowwa for many years and it’s always something that I recommend to my clients as I know that along with the right treatment plan, they’ll see fantastic results. I wouldn’t recommend a product I don’t feel 100% confident about and Glowwa has been key for me in my own hair health journey, restoring my hair to its healthiest. I am delighted to be joining the brand as an Ambassador and look forward to working with Suzanne and the team.”Suzanne Cooper, Founder of Glowwa, added: “Krysia is the perfect addition to the Glowwa team. Not only is she a wealth of knowledge when it comes to hair loss and hair growth, she’s one of our Glowwa success stories. We look forward to working with Krysia to share her expertise and knowledge with our existing, and new, Glowwa audience.”Glowwa will be sponsoring Krysia’s 'Fundamentals of Hair Loss' course, which runs throughout the year. 'Fundamentals of Hair Loss' is designed to educate hair professionals on how to define the different types of hair loss seen in the salon, how to recognise it, how to support clients and who to refer them too, providing stylists with confidence in this essential area of hair and scalp care. Suitable for stylists of all levels, the course will explore the range of products available on the market to help your clients with a holistic approach, techniques, and advances to gain more revenue per client and how this new knowledge can attract new business.
Josie supports the team with content for the print magazine, website and social media channels at HJ. Having grown up in a salon environment (thanks to her hairdresser mum) and even working as a Saturday girl before getting her degree in English Literature, Josie feels right at home in the industry. Although she’s experimented with a few creative colour looks in the past, she always comes back to blonde, and loves all things hydrating and bond building.
