Girls back for a third season (of great hair)

Jemima Kirke, Lena Dunham, Allison Williams and Zosia Mamet were on the red carpet last night to celebrate the premier of the third season of Girls, and it was good hair all round for the four leading ladies. Vintage glamour was the order of the day for Jemima, who paired her secondhand slip with softly waved, super-shiny hair pinned up into a faux-bob. Laid-back as ever, Lena let her sequinned full-length Rochas gown speak for itself with a simple, straight style. Worn in a low side parting and ironed to perfection, I think this is possibly the best we've ever seen her look, hairwise! Bringing her own brand of uptown-girl glamour to the proceedings, Allison Williams matched her Christian Dior gown to an equally sparkling updo. Slicked back away from the face with a hint of a quiff, the real detail of this look is in the back where a giant jewelled brooch topped of her super-chic bun. Zosia Mamet kept things simple in a Saint Laurent black gown - letting that fabulous mane speak for itself. It's always a surprise to see just how fabulous Zosia's hair is when it's always so unflatteringly portrayed in her TV roles. Best hair of the bunch, by a mile!
