Four members of the
ghd Style Squad were given the chance to work backstage at
London Fashion Week this season; another highlight of the year-long training programme for young stylists.
Joining
Kenna, ghd's UK brand ambassador and
Adam Reed, ghd's global brand ambassador, were
Chris Southern from Headmasters, Soho;
Lilli Bridger from Headmasters, Richmond;
Ashley Cockrell from Seanhanna, Cambridge and
Lauren Dickinson from Studio 11, Waddington.
The team created the hair for
Fyodor Golan, House of Holland, Lucas Nascimento and
Sibling.
Lauren Dickinson said: "It was one of the highlights of my career so far. It's always been an ambition of mine to work at Fashion Week and I felt so lucky to have been given the opportunity to work there with ghd at this stage of my career. It was everything I expected and more. I loved every second of it; being part of the ghd team and to be given the opportunity to get involved and be so hands on was incredible!"
Jo Robertson, ghd head of education UK & ROI was working alongside the team and said: "We love taking our ghd style squad members to LFW. They learn so much. Not just new session styling techniques and working under pressure, but also teamwork and how to interpret a designer’s brief. At ghd we’re all about bringing on young talent and backstage at the shows is a great place to do that."
