Get the look: plac autumn/winter 2015

Matthew Curtis created classic undone cool for the male models at the  PLAC Autumn/Winter 2015 show at New York Fashion Week. The show: PLAC Autumn/Winter 2015 The hair team: Matthew Curtis The look: Boyish mod hair with loads of texture. The inspiration: "It's a worn-out look with lots of texture," says Matthew. "We wanted it to look as if the hair had been groomed a couple of hours earlier. It's a classic undone and cool look." The key product: Hot Tools Ionic Salon Dryer Get the Look 1. Wet the hair down and apply sea salt spray, rubbing in with your  fingertips to create texture and movement. If model's hair is particularly thick, apply a volumising mousse instead to give greater lift and control. 2. Blow-dry the hair with Hot Tools IONIC Salon Dryer, blasting each section in a different direction, using a nozzle and a small round brush. 3. Finish with a firm-hold hairspray to define and hold the style. 4. Blast a shot of cold hair through to finish. [Image: Ben Gabbe]
