The Jenny Packham Bridal 2015 show took place this week as part of Bridal Fashion Week, and Beauty Works were on hand to create crowning glories fit for any bride's big day.
Stylist Jeanie Syfu used extensions to create a modern bridal style - polished and smooth on top, with a burst of ethereal volume through a ponytail at the nape of neck. This all-important volume came courtesy of Beauty Works Deluxe Clip In Extensions in a variety of shades.
Jeanie explained that the pulled-back look brought into focus 'both the natural beauty of the bride as well as the ornate necklines within the specific collection' - not to mention the fabulous accessories.
Get the look
1. Apply mousse liberally to all sections of the hair and rough dry.
2. Brush out the hair to work the product in and apply Beauty Works clip-in hair extensions from the nape of the neck to just above the ear, as needed.
3. Tease hair in small sections and lightly mist with finishing spray.
4. With your fingers, gather hair at the nape of the neck and secure with an elastic.
5. Take a small strand of hair from underneath the ponytail and wrap around the base to cover the elastic. Pin into place.
6. Loosen the ponytail just behind the ears at the nape to create a round shape. Gently pull a few wisps of hair from the ponytail to frame the face and fluff the hair lightly with fingers.
7. Finish with more finishing spray for long-lasting volume and touchable hold.
