Fun versus fabulous

As London Fashion Week finishes and Milan Fashion Week gets underway, stylistas move to the European city for the latest phase of shows. And it couldn't be more different to London. While London played it safe with muted hues - but had fun with hair - Milan has opened in a blaze of colour. Valeria Marini's Seduzioni Diamond Show was bright and beautiful - shapely models with curvy hair. While in London, House of Holland opted for fun and flirty side ponytails - the Sebastian team were briefed to create ponytails that fell over one eye, adding a rouch of coyness to the ghetto-chic style - the Italians chose smooth soft waves that were uber-feminine. And the ever-popular plait was back on the runway at the Simonetta Ravizza show.
