Frankie cocozza shows off short new hairstyle courtesy of jamie stevens

Former X Factor contestant, Frankie Cocozza, has had his trademark bushy barnet lopped off in a dramatic makeover by Jamie Stevens.
Jamie, who is not only HJ's Men's Hairdresser of the Year but also official hairdresser for The X Factor, transformed Frankie in an appointment at his new London salon.
With his long shaggy layers gone, Frankie and Jamie opted for a much shorter, sharper new look. Short on the sides with added length on the top, Frankie left the salon with a cool spiky quiff. Much better!
Jamie, said: "Everybody wanted me to cut Frankie's hair when he was on the show, but it was a real part of him and when you're going on stage in front of millions of people the last thing you need is your confidence stripped away. He's a good-looking boy though and I always thought he'd suit a more groomed style. I've done his hair and his eyebrows and he looks great."
Jamie tweeted his way through the entire haircut and received universal praise for his transformational skills - although the Risk boys did comment that they were disappointed that they would no longer have anything to laugh at Jamie about!
Frankie said: "I was really nervous but there's only so many comments about having dirty, greasy hair you can take... I've had long hair since I was 12 and the time had come to change it - it's summer, it's hot and I'm ready for something new. I also wanted to raise money for the charity set up for my best friend, Connor, who died 2 months ago. I'm really pleased with how it looks and the response has been great."
