Fife college hairdressing students head to spain for fashion show Fife College students style models for Look’n Green event in Malaga Fife College hairdressing students recently enjoyed the opportunity of a lifetime when they were invited to style models for a fashion show in Malaga, Spain. The eco-themed Look'n Green event showcased the work of students from five European countries as part of the Leonardo Project; a Europe-wide vocational programme. Joining teams from Malta, Spain, the Netherlands and Denmark, the Fife College hairdressing students explored the elements in their section of show with hair and beauty looks inspired the wind and waves of their homeland. Christina Laing from Fife College commented: "The project has been a fantastic experience for all involved. The creativity and skill shown by both our students and staff taking part in the show reflects the high standards of work being taught in Fife College. "The focus on sustainability is also very relevant, since as a college, we are committed to ensuring that sustainability and recycling is embedded into all our course work to benefit our students and the industries they will work for in the future." The students globetrotting doesn't stop there; they will soon be travelling to Malta for a fashion shoot and slot on Maltese television.
