Festival fashion: isle of wight festival

Lana Del Rey kicked off a weekend of festival appearances with a slot at the windswept Isle of Wight festival. Sporting a slightly less bouffant beehive than usual, Lana nevertheless still looked glamorous as ever. 

Sections pulled back from either side of the face make the look feel more modern than a classic 60s recreation, and also probably stop her hair blowing all over the place in the super-unseasonal weather that hit the island over the weekend.

Fellow redhead Katy B also appeared on the island over the weekend, opting for a more traditional boho style for her festival appearance. Long glossy waves styled in a side-part have a sultry feel but a slightly fluffed-out, dishevelled texture makes the look feel more modern.
