Fellowship photographic workshop inspires students Fellowship Photographic Workshop Inspires Students Inspiring students was the name of the game at the annual Fellowship Photographic Workshop, which saw budding stylists complete their own photoshoot over two days. The Fellowship for British Hairdressing arrange the event each year to help members learn more about both creating editorial work and how to show it off best through the medium of photography. For 2014, mentor Bruno Marc Giamattei and photographer Kai Wan put eight stylists through their paces, from moodboard to finished look. Day one commenced with each student planning and preparing for the two looks they were soon to create and shoot, with the mentors sharing planning tips and plenty of advice on finding the right model, photographer and stylist. On the second day each student set about creating their two looks on one model. With Bruno on hand for advice throughout and Kai behind the lens, each student was guided through the process from start to finish with a tailored tutorial. Teresa Booker from Clay Hair Salon, Oxshott said: "I came away from day one buzzing and so excited to execute my ideas, I have learnt so much from both Bruno and Kai, both guys have been fun yet inspiring at the same time. I’ve now realised the error in my ways on previous shoots and the workshop has inspired me to do more shoots in the future, with more confidence."
